Dishing The Soaps!

Hee I wasn’t really all that surprised to find Cheryl snoring and now she’s free although I’m not sure what the police came by to pick up. It sounded like a car but I thought she came by taxi. So she didn’t kill anyone which must be a relief but oops Kris doesn’t want her staying with him. He does offer to let her stay if she can get a job so she gets dressed and hey they both end up in pink for the day so she can find a job. Oh things are so easy on a soap since you can find a job just by blinking.

She goes over to see Steph who hired Malachy who happens to be looking better along with Mercedes to paint the flat. Oh sweetie I could have warned you about that being a bad idea. Maybe if he was alone but not with her around. So Cheryl turns up wanting to be a dance teacher and she performs and that was funny. Hell I’d end up knocking over the ladder myself if I tried dancing because I have two right feet but hey it did give everyone a good laugh. Cheryl decided to be positive and told Kris that Steph didn’t exactly say no. Oh luv that’s because she was too busy laughing to say it.

Steph ends up finding the two in the throes of passions so someone is fired and they only did the one wall. She wants a change so she doesn’t see Max all over the place. Changing the walls won’t do that but hey it couldn’t hurt and I like that purple. Maybe she could invite a few people over and do the painting or maybe Newt could help since he did help Darren paint his place that Pepto Bismo pink.

Zak has flowers for Michaela when he finds Cheryl. Of course I tried warning him about going to talk to Cheryl since she’s determined to make him hers but he didn’t listen. She decided to go home so he bought her a drink and oops Zak maybe you should have taken her to another place for a drink because Steph shows up and apparently Cindy has flaked out so Cheryl jumps up mentioning what a killer smoothie she can make. Steph agrees to give her a try which isn’t good for poor Zak who had convinced her to go home so I guess she’s sticking around which I’m glad about. Sorry about that Zak. She goes back to Kris and gives him the good news. I’m sure he’s just thrilled about it and thinking about burning any pink in his wardrobe after seeing her in pink. Am I the only one that thought about these two being together? Talk about an odd couple but who knows it could happen.

Oh Leo you have your moments but other times you can be such an idiot. He thinks Lauren is fine which she isn’t because she’s often neglected. At least he had the sense to go see Carmel and she did help out when they scattered Warren’s ashes over the river. Calvin tells him about what happened with Warren and Leo says he would have done the same thing but unlike Calvin I don’t think he would have felt guilty about it. Calvin does because it has affected Spencer and Sasha. Sure Leo says they’re  better off which might be true but it’s not like Calvin can just jump up and down and shake the guilt away.

Sure he didn’t try to save Warren but there’s no guaranttee he could have saved him because Clare already had the place doused in alchohol with the lighter in her hand so Warren could still have died. So that was sweet of Carmel to give the two some peace of mind about things. And she did mention to Leo that Lauren wants some attention. Often Lauren is left out so it’s like she isn’t even a member of the family which is bad because Leo should know better because he does have two daughters. I kind of wish Carmel would forgive Calvin and give him another chance but that’s probably just wishful thinking.
